    CFAES Appoints Dr. Kathy Lechman as Assistant Dean and Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

    We are pleased to announce that Dr. Kathy Lechman has accepted an appointment and will return to CFAES to serve as our Assistant Dean and Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. As our former Assistant Dean, Dr. Lechman was successful in laying the groundwork to improve our DEI structure, and now brings new experiences and insights from her two years in the Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity.

    New DEI Webinars Available Through the National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity

    The National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity (NCFDD) is an independent professional development, training, and mentoring community of faculty, postdocs, & graduate students from over 450 colleges and universities. They have recently shared two upcoming webinars that our office would highly recommend to the members of the CFAES community.

  3. Additional Sessions of "The Second Pandemic" Webinar Now Open for Registration

    We are happy to announce that we will be hosting two more sessions of "The Second Pandemic: Understanding and Challenging the Rise in Anti-Asian Racism in the Wake of COVID-19" webinar on Tuesday, August 11th and Tuesday, September 1st. Both sessions have also been extended and will last two hours. Please note that only people with valid OSU login credentials will be admitted to the August 11th session. If you are a member of the general public, please register for the September 1st session.
