The Diversity Dilemma

For acclaimed author and educator, Irshad Manji, diversity doesn’t stop at demographics. Being truly inclusive means we must equip ourselves to explore different points of view within identity groups.

Here’s the diversity dilemma: how do we hold honest and therefore occasionally offensive conversations in our era of righteous rancor? According to Prof. Manji, it starts with developing moral courage in ourselves.

In this latest Barbara K. Fergus Leadership Lecture, Irshad Manji will guide us through the taboo-riddled terrain. Expect to be inspired, unsettled and invited to disagree – in the name of real diversity.

The Barbara K. Fergus Women in Leadership Lecture Series

Established in 2005, the series brings together leaders from all walks of life – corporate and political, non-profit and higher education – to The Ohio State University campus to engage faculty, staff, students, and community members on leadership and public policy.
