Dr. Temple Grandin will be visiting campus for a free student talk on Monday September 30, from 2-3pm in the Animal Science Arena. Registration through the CHAIRE website is required for attendance. Dr. Temple Grandin, was diagnosed with autism as a child and eventually went on to earn a PhD in animal science from the University of Illinois. During her lifetime she has pioneered humane ways of treating cattle and written on her experience of being autistic.
