    The First Year Q*mmunity group is open to all first year and transfer students who identify across the LGBTQ spectrum. This program exists to build community and engage Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Transgender, Questioning & Queer students in social, support, and educational experiences.   Peer mentors help to guide each session, plan social outings, coordinate small group discussions and serve as a supportive resource to group participants.

    National Coming Out Day also takes place in October. It is an internationally-observed civil awareness day for coming out and discussion about gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (LGBTQ) issues. It is observed by members of the LGBTQ communities and their supporters (often referred to as "allies") on October 11 every year.

    Experts from Chile will interact with Wooster campus staff, students, and faculty about Chilean culture, arts, heritage, and history. Earlier engagements were for countries including Mexico, Nigeria, India, and Lebanon (Facebook page)

During Hispanic Heritage Month, The Ohio State University Office of Diversity and Inclusion will host the first annual SÕL-CON: The Brown & Black Comix Expo 2015.
