    Queer Compass, to be held in the Student Life Multicultural Center on Monday, August 24 from 10 am until Noon, is an orientation to the Ohio State lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning community for both undergraduate and graduate students.

    Featuring: The Honorable James E. Green Franklin County Municipal Court General Division (OSU Moritz College of Law Alum)   This is an opportunity for new and returning graduate and professional students to meet and network with those in different fields of study as well as alumni, faculty, staff, administrators and members of the community.  Included in the evening’s festivities is an exclusive occasion to network and develop relationships with key corporate partners who will be present.

    LGBTQ Welcome Mix & Mingle   The Ohio State University has long been a place where lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender & queer students and allies have thrived. Here you will find a diverse and vibrant LGBTQ community. As both a welcome to campus for first year and transfer students and a welcome back for returning students, we would like to invite you to the LGBTQ Mix & Mingle Reception to be held on August 25 from 4-6 pm in the Alonso Family Room of the Student Life Multicultural Center. (Located in the Ohio Union.)  

  4. Jan 13, 2015 through Jan 13, 2016, 9:30am - 10:30am

    This one-hour training provides an overview of best practices for ensuring all reasonable efforts to attract a diverse candidate pool for faculty and staff positions.  Participants will examine the role that implicit bias often plays in screening applicants.  Strategies for advertising and creating avenues for underrepresented applicants will be presented.
