The Department of Agricultural, Environment, and Development Economics (AEDE) will be hosting Darrick Hamilton, Executive Director at the Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity on Friday, March 6. During this seminar, he will discuss his work on black land loss and US agricultural policy. Dr. Hamilton considers himself to be a stratification economist and his work is focused on the racial wealth gap in America and is currently serving as advisor to several democratic presidential candidates.
