Professional Development

One of the primary charges of the CFAES Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is to offer free professional development workshops, training, and programs to help members of the CFAES community and beyond learn skills needed to build diverse, inclusive, and equitable communities. These workshops are typically open to all members of the OSU community and take place monthly throughout the academic year on both the Columbus and Wooster campuses. CFAES faculty, staff, and students are given priority registration. Ongoing and past workshops address topics such as:

  • Unconscious (implicit) bias

  • Identity, power, and privilege

  • Sex, gender, and gender identity

  • Male allyship

  • Active bystander training

  • Queer 101

Information and registration links for current workshops can be found on our CFAES Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Workshop page. Want to be the first to hear about our workshops? Sign up for workshop announcements and reminders here.

We also provide information on other diversity and inclusion events that are happening on the Ohio State campuses and in our community. For more information about those events, check out our Other Events and Workshops page.
